Kejriwal Leads Delhi Protest Against E20 Petrol Policy, Raises Fuel Safety Concerns

Kejriwal demanded that pure petrol options should be made available everywhere, along with cheaper E20 fuel and an overall reduction in petrol prices. He alleged that the current policy was affecting consumers and questioned the impact of the fuel mixture on everyday vehicles.

The government has defended E20 petrol, stating that the blend supports better combustion, strengthens energy security, and benefits farmers. Automakers have also confirmed that compatible vehicles do not face warranty-related issues due to the use of E20 fuel.

The protest has brought renewed attention to the debate over ethanol blending in petrol, with Kejriwal continuing to demand changes in fuel availability, pricing, and consumer options.
